Chair of Development Committee Awarded CDHA Life Membership

The Centre for Health Care Ethics is happy to announce that the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) has awarded Lynda McKeown a Life Membership, citing her outstanding contributions to both the dental hygiene profession and the CDHA at the international, national and local levels.  As a dental hygienist, Lynda has had continuous, active CDHA membership for over 32 years.  She is a founding member of the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board and a past-president of the CDHA.  Lynda’s dedication to professional standards is highlighted by her current participation on the accreditation team of the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada and as former President of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.  Lynda’s commitments as a member of the editorial board for the International Journal of Dental Hygiene, Chair of the Code of Ethics committee of the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH) and CDHA’s Senior Representative to the IFDH underscore her dedication to her profession.  To read more about Lynda go to
